Creating a brand and digital presence for a community-led space
Brief
Kehelland Community Hub is a community-led initiative based in Cornwall, bringing together a chapel, hall and shared spaces to support local activities, events and connection.
The aim was to create a clear, approachable identity and simple website that would help communicate what the hub offers, encourage engagement, and make it easy for people to get involved.
With a focus on inclusivity and accessibility, the brand needed to feel welcoming, community-driven and reflective of the people it serves — while also providing clarity around how the space can be used.
Solution
Zephyr worked closely with the team to develop a brand identity and website that felt simple, warm and easy to navigate.
The visual identity was designed to be approachable and flexible, allowing it to work across a range of applications — from digital to on-site communication — while remaining consistent and recognisable.
The website was intentionally kept clean and straightforward, ensuring visitors can quickly understand what the hub offers, explore upcoming activities, and find key information such as space hire and events.
Community has always been an important part of Zephyr, and this project was an opportunity to use design to support something that genuinely matters — creating a space that brings people together and encourages connection.
The result is a cohesive brand and digital presence that supports the hub’s mission — helping to bring people together, encourage participation, and reduce rural isolation through accessible community space.
